Dear St. Bede Families,
Our School
St. Bede Catholic School has been providing Catholic education since 1964. We are
blessed to have a very dedicated faculty and staff that genuinely cares and wants to
provide the best education for each one of our students. Our school provides many
opportunities for our students from Kindergarten through Eighth Grade to learn andgrow.
Our school has many programs that enhance our curriculum and faith formation
such as: Mass and sharing in Faith Families, our First Grade visits ParkView Health Care Center
once a month, the Kinder-Buddy Program in which Eighth Graders and Kindergartners engage in
a variety of activities, the students in Fourth through Eighth Grade participate in the M.U.S.E. Band
Program, as well as each class prepares and participates in classroom and school liturgies. Our
Student Council is also very active within our school community. They take an active role by leading
Morning Prayer each day sponsoring school wide activities. We also have some extra-curricular
activities, which include: Extended Care, Tae-Kwon-do, the Girls Athletic Program, and the Ecology
Club. Each month we acknowledge and congratulate students for their effort and hard work. There is
a true sense of community at St. Bede Catholic School in which everyone works together and shares
both gifts and talents.
Catholic education is a true gift for every student who attends a Catholic school and it is an effective
means of reaching out and teaching our faith to the younger generations.
We invite families to visit our school and see the many accomplishments of our students. We also
invite you to log onto our website at www.mystbede.com for additional information.
Family Prayer
Eternal God, with Jesus and the Holy Spirit you reign over all the earth. Strengthen our faith so that one day, we too will be united with you. We ask this through the same Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.
~ Mrs. A. Cosentino, Principal

St. Bede Catholic School Mission Statement
St. Bede School,
a ministry of St. Bede Catholic Parish,
is a multi-cultural K-8 school.
We are committed to handing on the
Catholic faith in its entirety,
particularly the values of worship,
social justice, and service to the community.
Within a safe, nurturing
and inclusive environment,
we educate each child to become
a disciple of Jesus Christ,
by challenging and encouraging the student
to develop to his or her fullest potential:
spiritually, academically,
socially, and physically.
